Guidance that meets the moment.
Four-year guidance for grades 9 through 12, as one relationship rather than a set of hours.
What the work includes
From early questions to a final decision.
- Building the school list
- Course planning
- Activity strategy
- Essay development
- Application strategy and timing, including Early Decision, Early Action, and Regular Decision
- Steady family communication throughout
Tali will give you genuine care and honest, straight-to-the-point feedback. She was never afraid to be straight with me when she saw areas for improvement in my application, and that’s exactly what I needed and will forever appreciate.
How it’s packaged
One package, not a block of hours.
I work as one comprehensive package, the same whether a family starts in 9th grade or later. The work is a relationship, not a set of hours. If I have space, I sometimes take on a focused essay-writing package over the summer before senior year.
- FeesWe talk about fees on our first call, once I understand what your family actually needs, and I put them in writing before we begin. Nothing about working together should be a surprise.
- CapacityI keep each grade’s roster deliberately small, about 15 students, so every one of them gets my full attention. When I’m full, I’m full.
Who this is for
The whole range of students.
Gifted students, twice-exceptional students, late bloomers, high achievers, and students who have no idea what they want yet. I’m very familiar with neurodivergence, ADHD, anxiety, dysgraphia, and dyslexia, and I know how to meet those students where they are. The range is economic too, and money doesn’t decide who gets my attention. I don’t turn a student away for being complicated.
The best fit isn’t a GPA or a bank balance. It’s a student who will be honest with me and do their own work, and a family that trusts the process. Because I work virtually, I can do this with families anywhere in the United States.
What you can count on
Plainly, here is how I work.
- I read every essay myself
- The only other person in the process is my writing editor, who brings 25 years of writing experience and a clear, objective eye
- I don’t count hours. When your student needs me, I’m there
- I keep each grade’s roster small on purpose, so no one gets lost
- I won’t write your child’s essays for them
- I won’t promise you a particular school
- I’ll tell you the truth, kindly and early, even when it’s hard
- What your student tells me stays private
- Everything we do is built around fit, not names
